1. Are there color choices?
PCS offers a large selection of color choices. If you do not find a color that works for your project, we will work with you to develop a custom color match.
2. Will my countertop be seamless?
Yes, it is possible to make it seamless, it just depends on the installation accessibility.
3. Does concrete crack?
It is possible for hairline cracks to develop. These are non-structural and are generally smaller than 1/2mm in width. They do not threaten the integrity or stability of the concrete slab.
4. Who will install my concrete piece?
PCS offers a template, in-field measuring, and installer service, provided by an outsourcing vendor. This is usually priced into your quote if you want to use our outsource vendor.
5. Can I place hot pots or pans directly on my concrete countertop?
We do not recommend putting hot pots or pans directly on the concrete countertop. We suggest putting a trivet under the hot item, so it does not discolor the countertop and potentially cause microcracking.
6. Can I cut on my countertop?
It is not recommended to cut directly on the concrete countertop because it will ruin the sealer. We suggest using a cutting board to protect the sealer.
7. Will the concrete stain?
All PCS products are sealed with premium sealers for interior and exterior application. With that being said, it could still stain if not properly cleaned. Please refer to our cleaning, care, and maintenance page.
